I now present it on this site for historical purposes, followed by original Facebook comments made by family confirming the fact.
While editing the school choir trip today, a man came in looking for Chris (my boss) and Tubby (fellow worker).
I said: I think they're on the other side of the office.
He says: Okay. Thanks.
Then he goes to walk off but stops.
He says: Well, anyway, I'm off back home now. Just came to say goodbye. This is my last day on the lands after 7 years.
Then I gave him a look as if to say 'Yeah...So...And...What?’ To him, he thought that I didn't care. But, to me, I gave him a weird look because:
A) He kinda looks a little gay (This isn't the same guy I had my homophobic experience with a few blogs back).
B) I was recalling an experience I had with him a few weeks back. While I was eating in the work car at Wati Numa (A shop I go to on my lunch breaks), I thought he was being racist towards me. He stuck his head out of his car, while he was driving, and started making weird noises at me and calling me some name. It sounded bad. I actually thought he was treating me like a dog. I gave him a weird look back. Anyway, a few seconds after he drove off, a dog walked past my car door. I laughed but was still a bit confused.
: So it was a combination of both A & B that formed my weird look towards him as he said his farewell.
So, anyway, my regret of the day is that I should have shook his hand. It would have been a good thing to do. I must be about 5-10 seconds away from being one of those naturally nice guys.
